How to make date pudding

  1. Turn on the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius to heat it up. Prepare some hot water in advance. Now put the date chips together with baking soda and 3/4 cups of hot water into a small saucepan or boiling milk and put it on the flame for a few minutes until it gets warm. Then remove from the flame.
  2. Put the softened butter in a bowl. Add sugar and vanilla and beat well with an electric mixer. Start adding self-rising flour spoon by spoon and after each spoon break one of the eggs into the mixture and mix well. After that, add the date mixture and stir just until the ingredients are mixed together. Then, add the rest of the flour and stir the mixture with a whisk.
  3. Grease the molds of your desired pudding with a little melted butter and divide the mixture into the molds. Bake the pudding in the oven for about 25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the puddings cool for 5 minutes, then remove them from the mold.
  4. To prepare the caramel sauce, pour the butter into the boiling milk and put it on a gentle flame until it melts. Then add sugar and cream and stir until they are mixed together and your sauce is uniform.
  5. For the first serving, put the puddings back on the plate. If you have trouble removing the pudding from the mold, use a knife. Pour the caramel sauce over the date pudding.
  6. Then decorate it with cream and chopped hazelnuts.

Tip: To prepare date pudding, you can use single ceramic molds or different types of silicone molds. After preparing date pudding, you can decorate it with caramel sauce, cream and hazelnuts and treat your guests with it.
